EIGHTH EDITION OF DELOITTE PRIVATE’S “BEST MANAGED COMPANIES” AWARD. ALA AMONG THE 72 EXAMPLES OF ITALIAN EXCELLENCE AT PALAZZO MEZZANOTTE
Naples, October 29, 2025 – ALA is among the winners of the eighth edition of the Best Managed Companies Award, Deloitte Private’s award for entrepreneurial excellence, which celebrated its eighth edition this afternoon at Palazzo Mezzanotte. The award ceremony was organized by Deloitte Private, with the participation of ELITE-Gruppo Euronext and Piccola Industria Confindustria, and with the methodological and strategic support of the ALTIS Graduate School of Sustainable Management of the Catholic University of Sacro Cuore.
«We are extremely proud to have been recognized —for the second consecutive year— for an outstanding way of doing business in Italy. As a company operating in several countries, we bring the values of Italian entrepreneurship and quality with us wherever we go. This award underlines not only the success of our financial capabilities and the value of our activities, but also our role as representatives of Made in Italy on the global stage» – comments Raffaele Carriola, Chief Financial Officer of ALA.
«In this eighth edition, we have recognized 72 outstanding companies in our country. In evaluating their performance, this year we again used a series of parameters that have been consolidated over time and distinctive of the Award – developed by Deloitte Private in 47 countries with unique evaluation metrics. Overall, these are aspects that Deloitte Private considers fundamental for evaluating the work of companies and understanding their overall performance, highlighting the excellent capabilities of their management and leadership. This distinctiveness of BMCs is even more evident considering the current market scenario, which is increasingly competitive and challenging. This year, we have also widened our focus to include another dimension, namely cybersecurity, which companies consider a priority, and which will become increasingly crucial in the future, given the technological and digital drive» – commented Ernesto Lanzillo, Deloitte Partner and Leader of Deloitte Private Central Mediterranean area (Italy, Greece, and Malta).
A jury of experts composed of Marta Testi, CEO of ELITE-Euronext Group; Fabio Antoldi, Professor of Business Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Faculty of Economics and Law of the Catholic University of Sacro Cuore; and Renato Goretta, Vice President of Piccola Industria Confindustria, witnessed and analyzed the excellent performance of the award-winning companies. The evaluation was based on the parameters of “Strategy,” “Skills and Innovation,” “Commitment and Corporate Culture,” “Governance and Performance Measurement,” “Corporate Social Responsibility,” “Internationalization and Supply Chain,” and, finally, “Cyber Security.”
«This year, we have once again recognized a solid base of high-profile companies that have decided to continue this journey with us. Over 80% of the companies recognized in the current initiative have also been recognized as Best Managed in previous editions. Particularly, we have nine companies that have been recognized for the seventh consecutive year for their virtuous management (New Platinum category), and five companies that have been symbols of entrepreneurial excellence since 2018, the first year we launched the Award in Italy (Platinum category). There are also 12 new entries, which also represent an excellent way of doing business in Italy. For all participating companies, their unique characteristics and performance were carefully evaluated by a group of Deloitte professionals and a jury of experts, considering the maturity of participation of the award-winning companies: the Award is the final result of this process, and the ceremony is an opportunity to highlight the excellence of their work, but also to compare them with and among all the award-winning companies, which stand out in the market and are a real growth driver throughout Italy», said Andrea Restelli, Deloitte Partner and Head of the Best Managed Companies program in Italy.
