Grace (2023) and Fauna (2023) are two ceramic sculptures part of the short film These butterflies come back from hell to see you (2023 Video, 11′ 27”), a work by Effe Minelli presented at Madre Museum (Naples) in January 2024.
This film marks a moment of passage between life and death, addressing the possibility of a rebirth through historical forms, reinterpretating their value and meaning.

Vesuvius-based artist Effe Minelli (Pompeii, 1986) investigates survival, transmission, and mutation of historical and cultural legacies in apocalyptic scenarios. Engaged with Neapolitan baroque, the artist blends theatre, poetry, movement and craft to find kinship with objects and natural elements, staging the body as a porous formation. His work has been shown at Museo Madre Napoli, Kunsthaus Hamburg, GAK Bremen, Fondazione Morra Greco, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.
